On May 19, the Maryland Inclusive Housing (MIH) staff, Board of Directors and other strategic partners met for a strategic planning retreat, hosted by the UMBC Center for Leadership & Innovation in Columbia, Md. The group participated in activities that helped determine how MIH will create a future that ensure its growing impact and sustained alignment with its mission going forward.
“With three brand new members on staff, MIH has committed even further to its goals” said executive director Tim Wiens. “It was important for our staff and Board to get together and brainstorm how we can most efficiently work towards our mission of helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities successfully access and maintain inclusive, affordable and accessible housing of their choice. Our strategic planning meeting was an excellent opportunity to do exactly that.”
