Join us for the MIH Legislative Lunch in Annapolis on Jan. 28!

On Jan. 28, Maryland Inclusive Housing (MIH), in partnership with Del. Jennifer White Holland, will host a Legislative Lunch at St. Anne’s Parish (199 Duke of Gloucester St.) in Annapolis focused on the importance of affordable housing for Marylanders with disabilities. The event will begin at 12 noon.

The Legislative Lunch will convene legislators, advocates, community partners, and Marylanders with IDD to introduce MIH’s 2026 State Legislative Agenda and foster meaningful dialogue around inclusive housing policy.

Speakers will examine the current landscape of affordable, inclusive housing in Maryland and highlight opportunities for action during the 2026 legislative session. Discussions will explore strategies to expand housing options, increase funding, and advance practical, community-driven policy solutions, with ample time for open conversation.

Seating is limited! Please RSVP via Eventbrite by Jan. 23. Let us know if you have dietary restrictions and if you need any accommodations, including seating. If you have any questions, please email MIH Director of Communications Andy Krauss.

“MIH, alongside Marylanders with disabilities and our allies, works with neighborhoods, developers, and policymakers to create inclusive communities across the state,” said MIH Executive Director Tim Wiens. “We play a vital role in advocating for affordable, accessible housing and collaborate closely with state and local governments. This discussion is designed to strengthen our advocacy efforts in Annapolis and in communities throughout Maryland.”
