On May 1, MIH Director of Housing Support Services Lauren Silverstone was honored as the Professional of the Year by The Arc Baltimore at the organization’s Annual Meeting & Awards Dinner at the Doubletree Hotel in Pikesville.
Silverstone earned the award by establishing a robust network of community services providers throughout Maryland to assist people with developmental disabilities secure homes in their chosen communities.
“I am honored to have been selected as The Arc Baltimore’s Professional of the Year,” said Silverstone. “Working alongside dedicated community partners who share my passion has been a pleasure. I look forward to continuing our collaboration in dismantling barriers in affordable housing and advocating for comprehensive policies that ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all.”
