ERASE Webinar on State Legislative Efforts to Advance Tenant Protections

The National Low Income Housing Coalition on July 27 from 3 to 4:15 pm ET for the second webinar in our three-part End Rental Arrears to Stop Evictions (ERASE) summer webinar series! The second webinar, “State Legislative Efforts to Advance Tenant Protections,” will highlight the successes of 2022-2023 ERASE cohort members in implementing tenant protections and increasing housing stability. The webinar will provide advocates with information about the various tenant protection campaigns of cohort members, including Idaho Center for Fiscal Policy’s initiative to establish limits to application fees; Homes RI’s efforts to eliminate application fees, create rental registries, and pass eviction sealing legislation; the Hoosier Housing Network’s efforts to pass eviction sealing legislation; and the Detroit Right to Counsel Coalition’s efforts to ensure effective implementation of the Detroit Right to Counsel Program.
